August 23, 2015: I hang out with a lot of old people. My grandparents are old. My parents are old. My aunts and uncles are REALLY old. It’s getting kinda old. I’m sick of hearing about coffee and the weather. To switch it up, mommy and daddy invited a young, cool, hip babysitter to play with me. I was scared at first. I didn’t know what to do with her. She didn’t need a nap the whole time! We played for a few hours and then she went home…right when I was getting more comfortable with her. Mommy says she will be over again though. Later I got to chat with grandma and grandpa at the cottage. I was trying to crawl to Grandma on the video phone, but daddy kept moving it around the room. I wonder if grandma is that fast in person? Only a couple more weeks til I get to find out!
