October 13, 2015: I think I’m in for a rough go of it. I’m not even 9 months old and mommy and daddy already have me doing odd jobs around the house. I’m supposed to help feed the cats, take my dirty diapers to the trash, help pick out my clothes, tell daddy he’s handsome, put away my toys, and clean up after meals. Granted, mommy and daddy do all that stuff and I just hang out with them while they do it, but I’m getting the feeling someday they expect me to do it by myself. Is there no decency in this world?! Today I was playing with my clean clothes and mommy said, “you’re going to fold those when you are done, right?” I don’t need any more on my plate, thank you. I need to talk to grandpa about unionizing.
