October 18, 2015: Daddy has a beautiful rosebush in our front yard. All summer long he taught me how to take care of it. Every couple days we would prune it and water it. Grandpa helped out too and fed it coffee grounds. I’m not sure why roses like coffee, but they do. I love to help daddy, and I love to see the roses blooming. They feel soft between my fingers. Today all four of my grandparents came over to play with me while mommy and daddy went to watch the Lions play. I wanted to show them our roses, but I forgot! Daddy said it’s gonna get really cold and the roses will be going away soon. Mommy said not to worry. The roses will come back next year and I can show them then – whew!
