California Girl

January 20, 2016: I could get used to this California living dealie. The weather is nice and warm, we get to see fun animals and plants, and I’m even starting to like this sleeping in hotel beds with mommy and daddy. I might want to do that some more when we go home. Daddy still had to work a little bit today, so me and mommy had one last morning of quality girl time before daddy joined us in the afternoon. But then our first family vacation REALLY began. Daddy doesn’t have to work anymore until next week – hooray! We are road-tripping from Long Beach to San Francisco. Basically that means we left our old hotel and drove to a new one. It takes a really long time. The good news is we stopped along the way to walk on the beach and see the ocean. I never did that before. It was so blowy that I could barely walk. It made me laugh really hard. I liked it a lot. Mommy says I could go to college here when I grow up. That sounds cool, but does college have beds big enough for all of us to sleep together? I’m not interested unless mommy and daddy come too.
