March 7, 2016: Taking care of old people is hard work. Grandpa hurt his knee over the weekend, so he wasn’t moving like I’m used to. We even had to take breaks so he could ice his knee. I helped! Mommy said I had to be careful with grandpa. He is old, fragile, and kind of a wimp when it comes to pain. I practiced on grammie instead. She wasn’t hurt but she was a better patient because she didn’t say ouch all the time. Grandpa said this is good practice for me because mommy and daddy are old and falling apart and I will have to take care of them too. Geesh. If this is what my future looks like, I better go to medical school.
