May 8, 2016: This Mother’s Day was not as busy as last year. It was fun, but we kept it more low-key. After mommy opened her presents, we watched a little TV. Mommy relaxed on the couch with Harley. I relaxed on my couch with my kitty cat too. Just like mommy! Then, we made breakfast for mommy and grammie. In the afternoon daddy and I visited grandma. We gave grandma her present and I got a present too..butterfly boots from Aunt Ellen! I only thought mommies got presents today? Daddy said not to question it. I love my boots. Then I played with a slide, basketball hoop, and bubbles in grandma’s backyard. It was so fun. Mommy stayed home and worked in the garden. She loves working in the garden. I think I would like to try working in the garden too, just like mommy. I hope next year she asks me to help her.
