August 26, 2016: I know we’re not getting a puppy any time soon but daddy and I still think it’s a good idea to practice taking care of a dog. Grammie and papa are watching cousin Ethan’s dog, Happy, while he is on vacation. I helped take her on a walk. This was the first time I got to hold the leash…with grammie’s help, of course! It’s a good thing Happy is so small. If she were any bigger, I’m not sure I could’ve held on. I guess that means I should start some sort of upper body strength training while I’m learning how to take care of a puppy.
