November 17, 2016: Presents, check. Cards, check. Cake, check. We are officially ready for daddy’s birthday tomorrow. Last year daddy’s birthday was an important one so we made a big deal about it. This year his birthday’s not that special, so we are going a little more low key. It’s a good thing too because Finley didn’t help at all. She had bad gas all day and spent most of the day crying. Her loss. I was going to let her help me mix the cake batter. I even had an extra spoon ready for her. Oh well. I got to use both. More fun for me!
