December 16, 2016:  I think something sneaky is going on with the grown-ups around here. Sometimes when they talk to each other while I’m in the room they talk in letters. I don’t know how to talk in letters…yet, but I do recognize a whole bunch of letters. Finley doesn’t know any letters. She can’t even talk yet. If we are going to figure out what they’re talking about we’ll need to work together. So Finley has some catching up to do. As usual, it’s up to me to  bring her up to speed. I know D is for daddy, Q is for quail and queen, M is for mommy, J is for Jameson, S for snake, W is for whale, and F is for Finley. Today we started with the F. Finley at least needs to know what the F is for. Mommy says, “F this,” and “F that,” all the time.
