December 21, 2016:  Grammie is a really good cooker and baker. She’s teaching me her secrets,  but I’m still little and not allowed to touch the stove. Today’s lesson was cookies with meminems. She said sometimes we need to taste the ingredients to make sure they’re fresh. I thought it would be best if I tested a whole bunch of them. I’m not going to serve Santa Claus subpar cookies. I heard he feels very strongly about his cookies and milk. Finley and I don’t want to chance it. Today was also grammie’s birthday. When that happens she has to make her own frosting and put it on the cake, and papa takes the whole family out to dinner cause he’s not allowed to touch the stove either. Since I already passed Cake Decorating I handled that part. Grammie was impressed!
