May 4, 2017: Mommy and daddy went on a date today. They left before lunch and still weren’t home when we went to sleep. I thought dates were only supposed to last a couple hours? I’m confident they’ll be back when we wake up in the morning. At least I think they will? Hmmm. Now that I think about it, mommy and daddy never go out without us. Maybe that’s why Finley was so upset when grandma, Aunt Ellen, and Gavin were over? Oh well. I’m not gonna worry about it, I had an amazing time!
