June 19, 2017:  It’s high time I learned to say some words. Even though I feel I’m being very clear and deliberate, my hand motions are just not good enough to get people’s attention and explain what I need. We got to steal daddy from work today and take him out to lunch. Jameson and I were very excited. Everything was going great until I finished eating and calmly asked daddy if I could get out of the uncomfortable chair. Instead he thought I asked him to take a family selfie to memorialize our lunch. Then I asked mommy and she just ignored me. I even politely raised my hand. It took at least 15 minutes of yelling for them to understand. They need to learn to listen, I don’t like to use my outside voice with them.
