July 2, 2017: Now that I can swim by myself with my floatie, I’m even more excited about going to the pool. Grammie and papa are on vacation, so we don’t have access to their pool. We’ve had a couple days of perfect pool weather too. Grammie would have loved swimming these last few days. To make matters worse, my swim class was canceled today. Mommy suggested we go to the splash pad down the street instead. It’s not that I don’t like the splash pad, it’s just that I prefer to get my wetness all at once in the pool. Plus we had plans to go there with cousin Ethan in the afternoon already. Soooo…we went twice today. Finley didn’t care, it was her first time at the splash pad and she loved it. When papa gets home I’m going to see if we can plan a day with two trips to their pool. Then I’m going to call uncle PJ to see if Ethan can come too!
