July 15, 2017: I think Finley got tired of being the only one in the family dependent on grown-up’s fingers for walking around. It was either that or get toted around in the stroller or wagon. She probably could have walked on her own weeks ago, but she was too nervous to let go and see what happened. Well today she wanted to do it all by herself. She took some steps between mommy and daddy inside, but walked about ten steps outside in the grass. Mommy watched the instant replay and decided that it counts. Walking in grass isn’t easy. I’m pretty proud of my little sister, but probably not as proud as she is of herself.
