August 12, 2017:  At first I thought mommy was weird when she said she wanted rocks for her birthday. We already have a bunch of rocks in the backyard and I don’t think they are very interesting. I suggested maybe she wants the Paw Patrol Air Patroller instead. She said no and asked Finley, daddy, and me to come to the rock store with her to pick out a good one. I’m still not sure why she wants rocks for her birthday,  but we did have fun at that store. They have knights in armor, cow, dinosaur, and bear statues…all kinds of stuff. I won’t be asking for any rocks for my birthday,  but I wouldn’t turn down a baby cow for my bedroom either.
