August 15, 2017:  Birthdays are special days, but mommy’s birthday is extra special. Mommy’s birthday is special for grammie because she’s mommy’s mommy. Mommy’s birthday is special for mommy, because it’s her birthday and she gets to be another year older. Daddy says mommy’s birthday is special for him because he got a wife out of the deal. Mommy’s birthday is special for me and Fin because she is our mommy and we are glad she was born. Otherwise we would be without a mommy. That’s why we have to eat cake and ice cream. Otherwise it would be just like any other day with a weird song after dinner.
