September 4, 2017:  Holidays are the best because instead of going to work, daddy stays home and pretends he’s papa. We do fun things that we normally don’t have time to do, like go shopping and bake cookies. The difference is that papa has to go home after he plays with us. Daddy gets to stay and do all the other stuff we do every day, like read us books, tell us silly stories, and tuck us in at night. Daddy says, “holidays are what retirement must feel like.” When daddy retires, Fin and I are gonna hang out with him everyday.
