October 24, 2017:  Mommy isn’t feeling too well, so daddy came home early from work to play with us. I appreciated daddy coming home, but I don’t have very much time for games cause I need to take care of mommy. I asked Finley to keep him occupied while I doctor mommy back to better. She is a difficult patient though. I offered her chicken noodle soup and she said no. My only option was to bring stuffed animals and books into her bedroom so I could cuddle and read to her. Unfortunately she wanted the lights off so I tried to tell her stories in the dark. I’m not as good as her and daddy, but it doesn’t really matter after you get passed, “Once upon a time…” I hope she’s better tomorrow cause daddy needs some attention too.
