March 27, 2018:  Daddy has been practicing counting with Finley’s fingers. Since he went back to work I thought I’d take over the counting lessons. I started showing her how to count my toes, but it’s hard to keep a straight face when Finley counts my toes. She goes too slow and it is really ticklish. We moved on to the fireplace stones intead. She can count five things now. We’d be much further along if I she stopped trying to tickle the stones.
