November 16, 2018: Shopping for other people is so hard. Daddy’s birthday is on Sunday and mommy took me to the store to get his presents. I love the idea of getting presents for daddy, but there are too many fun things that I want to get for myself. Mommy is usually pretty cool so I thought she might be on board with the ‘buy one for you, buy one for me’ idea, but no, she finally found her moral compass. I was so proud of her that I didn’t have the heart to tell her one of the shirts she got daddy was the wrong size. Oh well, I’ll grow into it.
