March 18, 2019: I think it’s time Finley give up this silly afternoon nap dealie. Everyday I come home from school all excited to play with her, we eat lunch, just get started, and she’s off to bed. So then I’m left to invent quiet games to play by myself. Like a stuffed animal school performance with an audience in my bedroom. Geeeeez, have some stamina kid. When I was her age I’m sure I wasn’t spending prime play time lazing around in my bed. Maybe I’ll give her a sip of papa’s coffee before naptime tomorrow.
