January 23, 2016: I love my new friend Emma very much. She is so cool. I love to hang out with her. We have a lot of fun together. Even though I just met her, it feels like I’ve known her a long time. I also like mommy’s friend Kristin. We got to hang out more today too. She’s super nice and she gave me a cupcake so I could practice for my birthday coming up. We also had a cupcake for Emmas birthday. Her birthday’s not til March but we won’t be around then to celebrate…ugh. I’m still trying to figure Dan out though. He seems to be ok, I guess, but he didn’t buy me a cupcake or take me on a walk, plus he likes to challenge me to staring contests. He will really need to step up his game to win my affection. Mommy says we are going back home tomorrow. I really hope the Kims come to Michigan one day soon to visit me! Maybe they can bring some Cailifornia sunshine with them too.
