December 27, 2016: Daddy said Finley and I can be his new apprentices. That means we bring daddy pillows and give him bites of our cookies while we fix things around the house. Today mommy built her new organization shelf for our toys. Daddy said she didn’t screw it together tight enough. So we brought him a pillow, a bite of my Oreo, and set to work with my screwdriver and hammer. Finley is still learning how to roll over so she was late to work. It wasn’t easy, but after a few hours under daddy’s expert tutelage we finished the job. In the middle I asked daddy for a break. He said we don’t pay union dues yet so we’d have to have our snack on the job. It’s hard work, but once we make foreman we get a pillow and cookie too!
