April 1, 2017: Mommy and daddy played a trick on us today. They said grown-ups get to play all day and kids have to do all the work. Mommy handed me the mop and daddy made Finley dress herself! We slaved away for as long as we could and then they said, “April Fool’s Day!” Are you kidding me?! What kind of sick parents play tricks on their kids? Finley and I won’t stand for this without retribution. We have a whole year to plan our vengence, and since we can’t read the calendar we’ll have our revenge whenever it feels right.
