July 2, 2019: Grandpa says no crying at the cottage. What about when daddy drives the boat with your fishing poles on top and they fly off, land in the water and sink?! You cry. A. Lot. (And technically we were on the water and not ‘at the cottage’ so I don’t think it counts!) You put daddy in timeout. And then you go get some ice cream to feel better. I think daddy learned his lesson, but we’ll see. We’re going to buy some new ones tomorrow. I hope they last longer than two days. Grandma still has a lot of fishing lessons to teach us while we’re here.
