August 13, 2021: Woke up this morning and still no power. It’s warm today too. Poor mommy, we hoped her week off would at least have air conditioning. Daddy went to the library so he could get some work done. They have power AND air conditioning. That’s not fair. So we went swimming without him. Fair is fair old man! We had dinner at grammie and papa’s. They weren’t home, but their air conditioning was. Our power came back on later when we got home. Phew! Just in time because we have lots to do to get ready for mommy’s birthday!
