August 18, 2021: It felt good to take the money we earned from our refreshment stand and give it to the Huron Valley Humane Society. They do great work taking care of animals. Plus it’s where mommy got Harley almost sixteen years ago. But, the best part of our visit was getting to see some of the cats who we are going to help! They were sooooo cute. I didn’t want to tell mommy, but I fell in love with one. Her name was Twiny and she was adorable. Don’t worry, we didn’t bring her home. Harley would never approve! I think Harley knew something though, because he licked me on the nose when we got back…he has NEVER done that before! It was amazing. If I wasn’t allergic to cats, I would have never washed my face. Seriously.
