October 26, 2021: I didn’t feel up to it this morning. I didn’t sleep well and my nose was completely stuffed. I woke up in the middle of the night with a bad dream and ended up in mommy and daddy’s bed. When I saw mommy in the morning I told her I should stay home from school. It wasn’t a “dumb day” as grampa likes to say. Mommy made sure I did lots of work. Way more than my teacher. I think I’m feeling well enough to go back tomorrow.
