July 24, 2022: Woohoo! We made it! After three years we finally made it back to the cottage. Grandma was waiting for us on the dock! Of course, grampa wasn’t there to meet us, but he found a silly way to say hi. When we pulled up to the dock, all the power was off! Silly grampa! It rained and right before bed we saw a beautiful rainbow. Then the power came back on. That sure is a silly way to say hi, but grampa always was a bit of a jokester. Let’s get this vacation started!
