July 28, 2022: It was our last full day at the cottage. We didn’t have any big plans. We just spent the day hanging out. We played games with grandma, did a little swimming, and visited with friends. Not only did we see the MacDonalds and put on a cat play for them, Dennis and Sharon took us on a sunset cruise around the lake! Our cruise ended with Dennis telling us silly grampa stories.. As he finished, beautiful pink clouds appeared and it rained when we pulled into the dock. Grampa left us a note before he died. It said to look to the clouds for kisses from him. He knew pink is our favorite color. We love you too, grampa!
