August 1, 2022: , Getting older has its advantages and its disadvantages. Now that I’m seven, I can tie my shoes (yes, finally!) and I can sleep in the top bunk at the cottage. That’s pretty cool because that means I’m ready for a loft bed in my room, which is awesome because I totally need more space. But now that I’m seven, it also means I’m old enough to go to the orthodontist. Ugh. I went for an initial visit and mommy said they would just be making a plan. Nothing to get done today she said. Yeah, right. Then why did I come home with spacers on my teeth and an appointment in two weeks to get an expander?! Space in my mouth is not what I need right now.
