September 6, 2922: First day of school! We aren’t nervous this year since we’ve got a year under our belt, but we do have some butterflies because we have new teachers! The first day of second grade is already better than the first day of first grade because I got a locker!!! Yes! Second grade is starting off on the right foot for me. Given my experience last year, I had been worried about a bad first day of first grade for Finley. Well, overall, she had a good day…but some girl told Finley she didn’t have a nice name. Poor Finley. She was a little sad, but she’s tough and didn’t let that ruin her day. She has so many other friends in her class that she is really happy anyway. Here’s to another great year no matter what they throw at us!
