September 19, 2022: The best sort of surprises are the ones when you wake up in the morning and daddy (who has been gone at the cottage) is in his bed when you wake up! Yeah! Daddy totally did that! He drove all night with Aunt Susie and got home in the middle of the night so he would be there when we woke up! Does anyone else have a daddy like that?! I doubt it! We have the best daddy ever. We missed him so much. It felt so good to hug him and cuddle him!
